NO BOOKING
No tickets or bookings required — if the door is open, so are we. School groups and bus tours are welcome free of charge. A quick call ahead means we can have a volunteer ready to show you around.
ARRANGE A GROUP VISIT
GETTING HERE
On High Street, just before the intersection of State Highways 1 and 3. If you are driving between Whanganui and Palmerston North you pass the door.




WHAT TO EXPECT
Free parking outside and on Criterion Street behind the building
Wheelchair accessible, with level entry and no steps inside.
Pets welcome inside the museum on a lead.
Photography welcome throughout the museum.
Visitor information available in eleven languages.
Free entry for children, with plenty to discover.
